The Flower Mound Town Council is making it look like Flower Mound may have a new Town Hall in the next few years! At their council meeting earlier this week, council members reviewed a preliminary proposal for a two-story town call from Oxley Williams Tharp Architects, who also designed the senior center that’s currently under construction.
The plans include a clock tower lobby within the two-story building that has been designed to double the amount of space of the current council chambers.
Plans also include water features including a pond, open space and additional parking areas.
The new Town Hall would be located at the corner of FM 1171 and Morris, where the existing senior center is currently situated.
Council members are strongly urging that this project move forward and that they plan for a town hall that can stick around for the next 50 years or so.
What do you think? Is this the kind of Town Hall you’d like Flower Mound to have?
