Today we had the great opportunity to head out to the Grand Opening for Horizon Homes in Harvest Meadows located in Northlake off of FM 407 on the west side of I-35W. You may recall us talking about this innovative new community last summer, which was created by Hillwood Communities (headed by Ross Perot, Jr.) and offers ranch-style homes priced from the mid-$200s to the $400s from some of DFW’s top builders: David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes and Plantation Homes.
Horizon Homes, a company under Highland Homes, is offering adorable homes at a great value considering the beautiful details and community amenities you’ll have access to living in Harvest. The model home just opened 3 weeks ago and they’ve already sold 5 homes, including 2 of their inventory homes. The model features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with almost 2,800 square feet and a stunning open floor plan.
Horizon also has 8 other inventory homes which will be available around September which range from $249,500 to $303,500 or you can choose from one of their floor plans and build your own. They’re offering 8 different home plans with the smallest plan starting at just $232,990!
The Harvest community hearkens back to times of farming and agrarian life, but with a modern vision. The goal is to foster a sense of community between residents with outdoor gatherings, pedestrian-friendly streets and numerous greenbelts, trails and playgrounds. And at the heart of the community is the event lawn, terrace and pools which overlook the lake.
If you’re looking to move outside the hustle and bustle of Flower Mound, I think Harvest – and specifically Horizon Homes – are a great option for you to look into! Truthfully, I had a hard time resisting buying a home for myself while we were out at the Grand Opening.
Call me for more information today – I’m happy to talk to you about this great new community and head out there with you to check it out in person!
