Ready to get into the holiday spirit? With Thanksgiving next week, I’d say it’s probably time to start! I know I’m feeling it after our office’s Thanksgiving potluck today!
This Saturday, The Shops at Highland Village will be celebrating its grand reopening with their “Our Village Glows” event beginning at 5:00pm in the new Central Park area where there will be complimentary horse-drawn carriage rides, face-painting, cookie-decorating, ornament-making and more!
Then at 6:30pm, spectators will get to take part as they light their 60-foot Christmas tree and begin the Central Park light show themed “Let it Glow! Holiday Light Show Spectacular,” which includes 245,300 LED tree lights synchronized to holiday music.
Throughout the holiday season, there’s also going to be some choir performances courtesy of some local school choirs, strolling holiday entertainment and even horse-drawn carriage rides!
AND for the first time, Santa will be coming to the Shops at Highland Village! He’ll be inside his tree house constructed within the 60-foot Christmas tree from November 21-December 24, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to take the kiddos over to see him.
For the most up-to-date information about all the events happening at The Shops throughout the season, keep checking The Shops at Highland Village’s website. They’ll have updates about reservations for breakfast and/or brunch with Santa, Santa’s photo hours and costs, giveaways, contests etc.
