The Town of Flower Mound recently approved a multi-million dollar residential development in West Flower Mound (just east of Tour 18) called Conservatory Estates. Homes in the new community are expected to range in price from $1.2-million to $4-million.
The community is being called a cluster development as it will allow homeowners to purchase more than the standard two-acre lot and combine that into an estate-style property. The hope is that this will create a feeling of more open space, while also preserving Scenic Corridors and Vistas of the Cross Timbers Conservation District.
Conservatory Estates is expected to contain a maximum of 64 residential lots, tennis courts, four amenity ponds, a wildflower meadow, a general-use trail along FM 1171 and an equestrian trail.
