It’s the beginning of November which means it’s the perfect time of year to head to a local coffee house and snuggle up with a delicious cup of coffee. We have some really great local coffee shops to choose from here in the Flower Mound area. And this week we’d love to talk about one that we know is a definite local favorite – Edison Coffee Co. in Highland Village.
Owners J and Melanie McWhorter are mad scientists when it comes to coffee creations and love researching new methods to serve customers the greatest and latest in what coffee has to offer.

And it’s a very cool, relaxing environment to either sit and visit with friends in or take some work you need a quiet spot for.
Edison Coffee Co. serves everything from classic coffee to seasonal drinks like their Spiced Apple Cider (which comes topped with an orange-cinnamon whipped cream) and their Spiced Pecan Cap which is espresso, milk, and spicy cinnamon cardamom syrup, garnished with crushed candied pecans.

And if you want something to munch on along with your beverage, Edison Coffee Co. has you covered there too. You can choose from one of their delicious baked goods (we recommend the pecan roll) or from one of their grilled cheese sandwiches like their Toast-Beast or Sage Apple grilled cheeses.

Another cool thing Edison Coffee Co. offers is a monthly brew class where they host a coffee tasting and cupping for anyone who is intrigued as to how they experiment with new coffees.

We can definitely see ourselves frequenting Edison Coffee Co. when we need a quiet moment or a warm beverage. And if you haven’t tried them out, we’d definitely recommend you get there this rainy, Fall weekend.
