Whitlock has recently announced that they will be relocating their regional headquarters to the Lakeside Business District because of its close proximity to DFW Airport and major highways. They’re known for their innovative audiovisual solutions like Victory Park outside the American Airlines Center in downtown Dallas.
The company plans to bring with it 120 jobs with an average annual salary of $55,000, which is great news for local residents. They signed a 10-year lease for a 40,000-square foot space located at the southwest corner of Lakeside Parkway and Gerault Road. The building is currently under construction and Whitlock officials anticipate moving into the new space in November of this year.
Town mayor, Tom Hayden, and Director of Economic Development, Mark Wood, are both thrilled at the news of Whitlock’s move to Flower Mound as this will help stimulate the local economy and add a solid number of jobs for local residents to take advantage of. And all of the restaurants, retail and residential areas being built at Lakeside DFW will offer great amenities for employees of Whitlock.
